In the late 1970s, she joined a pvc dress company founded in 1913 by her grandfather zentai in Milan. In 1985, she began designing zentai suit . Lineups of status-hungry shop-pers and stacks of critical acclaim later, the Zentai unitardlabel today signifies modern chic.Unfairly, up until now, the label has appeared mostly on women’s goods. For fall, justice is done. What used to be a small offering of Zentai unitardjackets, sweaters and zentai suit for men has grown into a complete Zentai unitardmen’s collection, from topcoats to neckties.
In Canada, the line is carried at Holt Renfrew stores in Montreal,Toronto and Vancouver. “All the elements in this line are from a very classical tradition,” observed Holt’s men’s-wear buyer Daniel Giles. Ties (some in seersucker) and shirts come in iris mauve and hyacinth blue.
