Jenny Herve Leger Black revealed: “I had no experience with horses and these Clydesdales are big Catsuits.
“They were lovely but I had a moment at the end of filming where the horse put its hoof on my foot.
“I steeled myself for a broken foot.
“But the second the horse knew he was putting pressure on something soft he lifted his foot. It was a lucky escape.” Jenny has also been watching a screen ex break hearts in another show.
Her former River City co-star Gray O’Brien is now starring as Coronation Street villain Tony Gordon.
He has just killed love rival Liam Connor (Rob James Collier) to stop him stealing his fiancee Carla (Alison King).
In River Herve Leger Skirt City, Jenny’s character Tina Hunter was romanced by Gray’s Billy Davies after her screen hubby, detective Eddie Hunter, was murdered.
Gray also romanced Jenny in short film Bon Voyage, in which he played a priest and she a country singer.
Their River City romance could have ended with a walk down the aisle if her hunky co-star had not quit the Tall Ship for the Rovers Return.
Jenny laughed: “Carla Connor? It should’ve been me! Well, it could have been but he b******* off didn’t he? I’ll never forgive him!
“I’m only joking. I’m really pleased for him. He’s a great guy and deserves everything he’s getting right now.
“His Herve Leger Pink Short Dress profile is so high at the moment and you can tell he’s really getting his teeth into it and enjoying himself. I loved working with him. He makes it very easy. He’s a real joker although he’s probably not getting to joke much when he’s up to his neck in murder.”
Costume spiderman- who attended the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama alongside Doctor Who star David Tennant – has also been starring in STV drama Cracked, about a rehab clinic.
Next up she is going to London to meet with her agent about new projects but hopes to find time to catch up with the new-look River City.
Jenny has fond memories of the soap, which she left last year.
She said: “Tina didn’t have the easiest of lives and in the end she went to Mull, which I thought was a great soap exit.
“No shooting, no being run out of town, no being run over…just go and have a cup of tea on the ferry to Mull and everything will be all right.
“I Herve Leger MAGENTA Strapless Dress haven’t seen the new version but I hope they stay true to the elements that have made it so successful.
“Tina’s not been killed off so you never know but I’m not expecting a call.”
